Christ the Wisdom and Power of God

18For the word of the cross is jfolly to kthose who are perishing, but to us lwho are being saved it is mthe power of God. 19For it is written,

n“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise,
and the discernment of the discerning I will thwart.”
20 oWhere is the one who is wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? pHas not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? 21For since, in the wisdom of God, the world did not know God through wisdom, it pleased God through the folly of what we preach
Or  the folly of preaching
to save those who believe.
22For rJews demand signs and Greeks seek wisdom, 23but we preach Christ scrucified, a stumbling block to Jews and folly to Gentiles, 24but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ tthe power of God and uthe wisdom of God.

1 Corinthians 2:4

4and my speech and my message were not in plausible words of wisdom, but in demonstration of vthe Spirit and of power,

1 Corinthians 14:24-25

24But if all prophesy, and an unbeliever or outsider enters, he is convicted by all, he is called to account by all, 25 wthe secrets of his heart are disclosed, and so, xfalling on his face, he will worship God and ydeclare that God is really among you.
