Psalms 110:2-3

2 The Lord sends forth afrom Zion
byour mighty scepter.
cRule in the midst of your enemies!
3 dYour people will eoffer themselves freely
on the day of your fpower,
Or  on the day you lead your forces

in hholy garments;

from the womb of the morning,
the dew of your youth will be yours.
The meaning of the Hebrew is uncertain

1 Thessalonians 1:5

5because kour gospel came to you not only in word, but also in power and lin the Holy Spirit and with full mconviction. You know nwhat kind of men we proved to be among you for your sake.

1 Thessalonians 2:13

13And owe also thank God constantly
Or without ceasing
for this, that when you received qthe word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it rnot as the word of men
The Greek word anthropoi can refer to both men and women
but as what it really is, the word of God, twhich is at work in you believers.

2 Thessalonians 3:1

Pray for Us

1Finally, brothers,
Or  brothers and sisters; also verses 6, 13
vpray for us, that wthe word of the Lord may speed ahead and be honored,
Or glorified
as happened among you,
