The Lord’s Mercy Remembered

7 I will recount the steadfast love of the Lord,
the praises of the Lord,
according to all that the Lord has granted us,
tand the great goodness to the house of Israel
that he has granted them according to his compassion,
according to the abundance of his steadfast love.
8For he said, “Surely they are my people,
children who will not deal falsely.”
And he became their Savior.
9 uIn all their affliction he was afflicted,
Or  he did not afflict

and the angel of his presence saved them;
win his love and in his pity he redeemed them;
xhe lifted them up and carried them all the days of old.
10 yBut they rebelled
zand grieved his Holy Spirit;
therefore he turned to be their enemy,
and himself fought against them.
11Then he remembered aathe days of old,
of Moses and his people.
Or  Then his people remembered the days of old, of Moses

acWhere is he who brought them up out of the sea
with the shepherds of his flock?
Where is he who put in the midst of them
his Holy Spirit,
12who caused his glorious arm
to go at the right hand of Moses,
adwho divided the waters before them
aeto make for himself an everlasting name,
13who led them through the depths?
Like a horse in the desert,
they did not stumble.

Mark 5:19-20

19And he did not permit him but said to him, Go home to your friends and aftell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.” 20And he went away and began to proclaim in agthe Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him, and everyone marveled.

Acts 9:13-16

13But Ananias answered, “Lord, I have heard from many about this man, ahhow much evil he has done to aiyour ajsaints at Jerusalem. 14And here he has authority from akthe chief priests to bind all who alcall on your name.” 15But the Lord said to him, Go, for amhe is a chosen instrument of mine to carry my name anbefore the Gentiles and aokings and the children of Israel. 16For apI will show him how much aqhe must suffer arfor the sake of my name.”
