Psalms 114

Tremble at the Presence of the Lord

1 When aIsrael went out from Egypt,
the house of Jacob from ba people of strange language,
2Judah became his csanctuary,
Israel his dominion.
3 dThe sea looked and fled;
eJordan turned back.
4 fThe mountains skipped like rams,
the hills like lambs.
5 What gails you, O sea, that you flee?
O Jordan, that you turn back?
6O mountains, that you skip like rams?
O hills, like lambs?
7 hTremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord,
at the presence of the God of Jacob,
8who turns ithe rock into ja pool of water,
kthe flint into a spring of water.

Psalms 135:8-10

8 He it was who lstruck down the firstborn of Egypt,
both of man and of beast;
9who in your midst, O Egypt,
sent msigns and wonders
against Pharaoh and all his servants;
10 nwho struck down many nations
and killed mighty kings,

Psalms 136:10-15

10 to him who ostruck down the firstborn of Egypt,
for his steadfast love endures forever;
11and pbrought Israel out from among them,
for his steadfast love endures forever;
12with qa strong hand and an outstretched arm,
for his steadfast love endures forever;
13to him who rdivided the Red Sea in two,
for his steadfast love endures forever;
14 sand made Israel pass through the midst of it,
for his steadfast love endures forever;
15but toverthrew
Hebrew shook off
Pharaoh and his host in the Red Sea,
for his steadfast love endures forever;

Isaiah 63:9-14

9 vIn all their affliction he was afflicted,
Or  he did not afflict

and the angel of his presence saved them;
xin his love and in his pity he redeemed them;
yhe lifted them up and carried them all the days of old.
10 zBut they rebelled
aaand grieved his Holy Spirit;
therefore he turned to be their enemy,
and himself fought against them.
11Then he remembered abthe days of old,
of Moses and his people.
Or  Then his people remembered the days of old, of Moses

adWhere is he who brought them up out of the sea
with the shepherds of his flock?
Where is he who put in the midst of them
his Holy Spirit,
12who caused his glorious arm
to go at the right hand of Moses,
aewho divided the waters before them
afto make for himself an everlasting name,
13who led them through the depths?
Like a horse in the desert,
they did not stumble.
14Like livestock that go down into the valley,
agthe Spirit of the Lord gave them rest.
So you led your people,
ahto make for yourself a glorious name.

Jeremiah 32:20-21

20You have shown aisigns and wonders in the land of Egypt, and to this day in Israel and among all mankind, ajand have made a name for yourself, as at this day. 21 akYou brought your people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs and wonders, with a strong hand and aloutstretched arm, amand with great terror.

Amos 2:10
