Psalms 116:16

16 O Lord, I am your ^aservant;
I am your servant, ^bthe son of your maidservant.
You have ^cloosed my bonds.

Romans 6:2-15

2 By no means! How can ^dwe who died to sin still live in it? 3 Do you not know that all of us ^ewho have been baptized ^finto Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4 We were ^gburied therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as ^hChrist was raised from the dead by ⁱthe glory of the Father, we too might walk in ^jnewness of life.

5 For ^kif we have been united with him in ^la death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his. 6 We know that ^mour old self ^{▼▼Greek man} ^owas crucified with him in order that ^pthe body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin. 7 For ^qone who has died ^rhas been set free ^{▼▼Greek has been justified} from sin. 8 Now ^tif we have died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. 9 We know that ^uChrist, being raised from the dead, will never die again; ^vdeath no longer has dominion over him. 10 For the death he died he died to sin, ^wonce for all, but the life he lives he lives to God. 11 So you also must consider yourselves ^xdead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.

12 Let not ^ysin therefore reign in your mortal body, to make you obey its passions. 13 ^zDo not present your members to sin as instruments for unrighteousness, but ^aapresent yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life, and your members to God as instruments for righteousness. 14 For ^absin ^acwill have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace.

Slaves to Righteousness

15 What then? ^adAre we to sin ^aebecause we are not under law but under grace? By no means!

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

19 Or ^afdo you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? ^agYou are not your own, 20 ^ahfor you were bought with a price. ^aiSo glorify God in your body.

1 Peter 4:2-3

2 ^ajso as to live for ^akthe rest of the time in the flesh ^alno longer for human passions but ^amfor the will of God. 3 For the time that is past ^ansuffices ^aofor doing what the Gentiles want to do, living in sensuality, passions, drunkenness, orgies, drinking parties, and lawless idolatry.
