Some manuscripts omit, in whole or in part, verses 19b-20 ( which is given . . . in my blood)

1 Corinthians 10:16

16 jThe cup of blessing that we bless, is it not a participation in the blood of Christ? kThe bread that we break, is it not a participation in the body of Christ?

1 Corinthians 10:21

21 lYou cannot drink the cup of the Lord and mthe cup of demons. You cannot partake of the table of the Lord and nthe table of demons.

1 Corinthians 11:25-27

25In the same way also he took the cup, after supper, saying, This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.” 26For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death ountil he comes.

27 pWhoever, therefore, eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord qin an unworthy manner will be guilty concerning rthe body and blood of the Lord.
