3 ^aThe snares of death encompassed me;
the pangs of Sheol laid hold on me;
I suffered distress and anguish.
4 Then ^bI called on the name of the Lord:
“O Lord, I pray, deliver my soul!”

Lamentations 3:53-55

53 ^cthey flung me alive into the pit
^dand cast stones on me;

Jonah 2:2-4
