22 aThe stone that the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone.

Isaiah 8:14-15

14And he will become a csanctuary and da stone of offense and a rock of stumbling to both houses of Israel, a trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem. 15And many eshall stumble on it. They shall fall and be broken; they shall be snared and taken.”

Isaiah 28:16

16therefore thus says the Lord God,
fBehold, I am the one who has laid
Dead Sea Scroll  I am laying
as a foundation hin Zion,
a stone, a tested stone,
a precious cornerstone, of a sure foundation:
‘Whoever believes will not be in haste.’

Matthew 21:42

42Jesus said to them, i“Have you never read in the Scriptures:

j“‘The stone that the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone;
Greek  the head of the corner

this was the Lord’s doing,
and it is marvelous in our eyes’?

Matthew 21:44

44And lthe one who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; and mwhen it falls on anyone, it will crush him.”

1 Peter 2:7-8

7So the honor is for you who obelieve, but for those who pdo not believe,

s“A stone of stumbling,
and a rock of offense.”
They stumble because they disobey the word, tas they were destined to do.
