Psalms 118:22-23

22 aThe stone that the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone.

23This is the Lord’s doing;
it is marvelous in our eyes.

Isaiah 28:16

16therefore thus says the Lord God,
cBehold, I am the one who has laid
Dead Sea Scroll  I am laying
as a foundation ein Zion,
a stone, a tested stone,
a precious cornerstone, of a sure foundation:
‘Whoever believes will not be in haste.’

Matthew 21:42-45

42Jesus said to them, f“Have you never read in the Scriptures:

g“‘The stone that the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone;
Greek  the head of the corner

this was the Lord’s doing,
and it is marvelous in our eyes’?
43Therefore I tell you, the kingdom of God iwill be taken away from you and given to a people jproducing its fruits. 44And kthe one who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; and lwhen it falls on anyone, it will crush him.”
