33 ^aTeach me, O Lord, the way of your statutes;
and I will keep it ^bto the end. ^{▼▼Or keep it as my reward}
34 ^dGive me understanding, that I may keep your law
and observe it with my whole heart.
35 ^eLead me in the path of your commandments,
for I ^fdelight in it.
36 ^gIncline my heart to your testimonies,
and not to ^hselfish gain!
37 ⁱTurn my eyes from looking at worthless things;
and ^jgive me life in your ways.
38 ^kConfirm to your servant your promise,
^lthat you may be feared.
39 Turn away the ^mreproach that I dread,
for your rules are good.
40 Behold, I ⁿlong for your precepts;
^oin your righteousness give me life!
