Psalms 119:71

71It is agood for me that I was afflicted,
that I might learn your statutes.

Isaiah 22:12-14

called for weeping and mourning,

13and behold, joy and gladness,
killing oxen and slaughtering sheep,
eating flesh and drinking wine.
e“Let us eat and drink,
for tomorrow we die.”
14The Lord of hosts fhas revealed himself in my ears:
“Surely gthis iniquity will not be atoned for you huntil you die,”
says the Lord God of hosts.

Isaiah 26:11

11O Lord, iyour hand is lifted up,
but jthey do not see it.
Let them see your zeal for your people, and be ashamed.
Let kthe fire for your adversaries consume them.
