97 Oh how aI love your law!
It is my bmeditation all the day.
98Your commandment makes me cwiser than my enemies,
for it is ever with me.
99I have more understanding than all my teachers,
for dyour testimonies are my meditation.
100I understand more than ethe aged,
Or  the elders

for I gkeep your precepts.
101I hhold back my feet from every evil way,
in order to keep your word.
102I do not turn aside from your rules,
for you have taught me.
103How isweet are your words to my taste,
sweeter than honey to my mouth!
104Through your precepts I get understanding;
therefore jI hate every false way.

The Value of Wisdom

1 mMy son, nif you receive my words
and treasure up my commandments with you,
2making your ear attentive to wisdom
and inclining your heart to understanding;
3yes, if you call out for insight
and raise your voice ofor understanding,
4if you seek it like psilver
and search for it as for qhidden treasures,
5then ryou will understand the fear of the Lord
and find the knowledge of God.
6For sthe Lord gives wisdom;
from his mouth come knowledge and understanding;
7he stores up sound wisdom for the upright;
he is ta shield to those who uwalk in integrity,
8guarding the paths of justice
and vwatching over the way of his wsaints.
9 xThen you will understand yrighteousness and justice
and equity, every good path;
10for wisdom will come into your heart,
and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul;
11 zdiscretion will aawatch over you,
understanding will guard you,

Proverbs 4:18-19

18But abthe path of the righteous is like acthe light of dawn,
which shines adbrighter and brighter until aefull day.
19 afThe way of the wicked is like deep agdarkness;
they do not know over what they ahstumble.

Proverbs 6:23

23For the commandment is aia lamp and the teaching a light,
and the ajreproofs of discipline are the way of life,

Isaiah 8:20

20 aoTo the teaching and to the testimony! If they will not speak according to this word, it is because they have no apdawn.

Isaiah 42:16

16 aqAnd I will lead the blind
in a way that they do not know,
in paths that they have not known
I will guide them.
I will turn the darkness before them into light,
arthe rough places into level ground.
These are the things I do,
and I do not forsake them.
