8 On every side the wicked prowl,
as vileness is exalted among the children of man.

10 ^aWhen it goes well with the righteous, the city rejoices,
and when the wicked perish there are shouts of gladness.

12 When ^bthe righteous triumph, there is great glory,
but when ^cthe wicked rise, people hide themselves.
