5But those who aturn aside to their bcrooked ways
the Lord will lead away with cevildoers!

Jeremiah 7:23-28

23But this command I gave them: eObey my voice, and fI will be your God, and you shall be my people. gAnd walk in all the way that I command you, hthat it may be well with you.’ 24 iBut they did not obey or incline their ear, jbut walked in their own counsels and kthe stubbornness of their evil hearts, and lwent backward and not forward. 25From the day that your fathers came out of the land of Egypt to this day, mI have persistently sent all my servants the prophets to them, day after day. 26 nYet they did not listen to me or incline their ear, obut stiffened their neck. pThey did worse than their fathers.

27 q“So you shall speak all these words to them, but they will not listen to you. rYou shall call to them, but they will not answer you. 28And you shall say to them, ‘This is the nation that did not obey the voice of the Lord their God, and did not accept discipline; struth has perished; it is cut off from their lips.

Ezekiel 18:24

24 tBut when a righteous person turns away from his righteousness and does injustice and does the same abominations that the wicked person does, shall he live? uNone of the righteous deeds that he has done shall be remembered; for vthe treachery of which he is guilty and the sin he has committed, for them he shall die.

Ezekiel 33:18

18 wWhen the righteous turns from his righteousness and does injustice, he shall die for it.

Ezekiel 45:20

20You shall do the same on the seventh day of the month for anyone who has sinned through error or ignorance; so you shall make atonement for the temple.

Zephaniah 1:6

6 xthose who have turned back from following the Lord,
ywho do not seek the Lord or inquire of him.”
