Restore Our Fortunes, O Lord

1 When the Lord brestored the fortunes of Zion,
we were like those who cdream.

Psalms 126:4

4 Restore our fortunes, O Lord,
like streams in the Negeb!

Jeremiah 46:27-28

27 d“But fear not, O Jacob my servant,
nor be dismayed, O Israel,
for behold, I will save you from far away,
and your offspring from the land of their captivity.
Jacob shall return and have quiet and ease,
and none shall make him afraid.
28 eFear not, O Jacob my servant,

declares the Lord,
for I am with you.
I will make a full end of all the nations
to which I have driven you,
but of you I will not make a full end.
fI will discipline you in just measure,
and I will by no means leave you unpunished.”

Jeremiah 50:4-5

4 g“In those days and in that time, declares the Lord, hthe people of Israel and the people of Judah shall come together, iweeping as they come, and they jshall seek the Lord their God. 5 kThey shall ask the way to Zion, with faces turned toward it, lsaying, ‘Come, let us join ourselves to the Lord in an meverlasting covenant that will never be forgotten.’

Jeremiah 50:19-20

19 nI will restore Israel to his pasture, and ohe shall feed on pCarmel and in qBashan, and his desire shall be satisfied on the hills of Ephraim and in rGilead. 20In those days and in that time, declares the Lord, siniquity shall be sought in Israel, and there shall be none, and sin in Judah, and none shall be found, for tI will pardon those whom I leave as a remnant.

Jeremiah 50:33-34

33Thus says the Lord of hosts: uThe people of Israel are oppressed, and the people of Judah with them. All who took them captive have held them fast; vthey refuse to let them go. 34 wTheir Redeemer is strong; xthe Lord of hosts is his name. yHe will surely plead their cause, that he may give rest to the earth, but unrest to the inhabitants of Babylon.

Jeremiah 51:10

the work of the Lord our God.

Ezekiel 11:16-20

16Therefore say, ‘Thus says the Lord God: Though I removed them far off among the nations, and though I scattered them among the countries, yet abI have been a sanctuary to them for a while

17Therefore say, ‘Thus says the Lord God: adI will gather you from the peoples and assemble you out of the countries where you have been scattered, aeand I will give you the land of Israel.’ 18And when they come there, afthey will remove from it all its agdetestable things and all its abominations. 19 ahAnd I will give them one heart, and aia new spirit I will put within them. ajI will remove the heart of stone from their flesh akand give them a heart of flesh, 20 althat they may walk in my statutes and keep my rules and obey them. amAnd they shall be my people, and I will be their God.
