Psalms 126:5-6

5 aThose who sow in tears
shall reap with shouts of joy!
6He who goes out weeping,
bearing the seed for sowing,
shall come home with shouts of joy,
bringing his sheaves with him.

Jeremiah 31:7

7 For thus says the Lord:
bSing aloud with gladness for Jacob,
and raise shouts for cthe chief of the nations;
proclaim, give praise, and say,
d‘O Lord, save your people,
the remnant of Israel.’

Jeremiah 31:12-14

12They shall come and sing aloud on the height of Zion,
eand they shall be radiant fover the goodness of the Lord,
gover the grain, the wine, and the oil,
and over the young of the flock and the herd;
htheir life shall be like a watered garden,
iand they shall languish no more.
13 jThen shall the young women rejoice in the dance,
and the young men and the old shall be merry.
kI will turn their mourning into joy;
I will comfort them, and give them gladness for sorrow.
14 lI will feast the soul of the priests with abundance,
and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness,

declares the Lord.”

Acts 8:8
