Psalms 13:1-4

How Long, O Lord?

To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David.

1 ^aHow long, O Lord? Will you ^bforget me forever?
How long will you ^chide your face from me?
2 How long must I take ^dcounsel in my soul
and have sorrow in my heart all the day?
How long shall my enemy be exalted over me?
3 ^eConsider and answer me, O Lord my God;
^flight up my eyes, lest ^gI sleep the sleep of death,
4 ^hlest my enemy say, “I have prevailed over him,”
lest my foes rejoice because I am ⁱshaken.

Psalms 40:13

13 ^jBe pleased, O Lord, to ^kdeliver me!
O Lord, ^lmake haste to help me!

Psalms 40:17

17 As for me, I am ^mpoor and needy,
but ⁿthe Lord takes thought for me.
You are my help and my deliverer;
do not delay, O my God!

Psalms 70:5

5 But I am poor and needy;
