I Have Calmed and Quieted My Soul

1 O Lord, my heart is not ^blifted up;
my eyes are not ^craised too high;
I do not ^doccupy myself with things
too great and ^etoo marvelous for me.
2 But I have calmed and quieted my soul,
like a weaned ^fchild with its mother;
like a weaned child is my soul within me.

Isaiah 57:15

15 For thus says ^gthe One who is high and lifted up,
who inhabits eternity, whose name is ^hHoly:
ⁱ“I dwell in the high and holy place,
and also ^jwith him who is of a contrite and lowly spirit,
^kto revive the spirit of the lowly,
and to revive the heart of the contrite.

Matthew 23:11-12
