Psalms 137:8-9

8O daughter of Babylon, adoomed to be destroyed,
blessed shall he be who brepays you
with what you have done to us!
9Blessed shall he be who takes your little ones
and cdashes them against the rock!

Isaiah 47:6-9

6 dI was angry with my people;
I profaned my heritage;
I gave them into your hand;
eyou showed them no mercy;
on the aged you made your yoke exceedingly heavy.
7You said, “I shall be fmistress forever,”
so that you did not lay these things to heart
or remember their end.
8 Now therefore hear this, gyou lover of pleasures,
hwho sit securely,
who say in your heart,
iI am, and there is no one besides me;
jI shall not sit as a widow
or know the loss of children”:
9 kThese two things shall come to you
in a moment, lin one day;
the loss of children and widowhood

and the great power of your enchantments.

Jeremiah 50:15

15 nRaise a shout against her all around;
she has surrendered;
her bulwarks have fallen;
oher walls are thrown down.
For pthis is the vengeance of the Lord:
take vengeance on her;
qdo to her as she has done.

Jeremiah 50:17-18

17 rIsrael is a hunted sheep sdriven away by lions. tFirst the king of Assyria udevoured him, and now at last vNebuchadnezzar king of Babylon whas gnawed his bones. 18Therefore, thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, xI am bringing punishment on the king of Babylon and his land, yas I punished the king of Assyria.

Jeremiah 50:28-29

28“A voice! They zflee and escape from the land of Babylon, aato declare in Zion the vengeance of the Lord our God, vengeance for abhis temple.

29 acSummon archers against Babylon, all those who bend the bow. adEncamp around her; let no one escape. aeRepay her according to her deeds; do to her according to all that she has done. For she has afproudly defied the Lord, the Holy One of Israel.

Jeremiah 50:33-34

33Thus says the Lord of hosts: agThe people of Israel are oppressed, and the people of Judah with them. All who took them captive have held them fast; ahthey refuse to let them go. 34 aiTheir Redeemer is strong; ajthe Lord of hosts is his name. akHe will surely plead their cause, that he may give rest to the earth, but unrest to the inhabitants of Babylon.

Jeremiah 51:11

11 alSharpen the arrows!
Take up the shields!
amThe Lord has stirred up the spirit of the kings of anthe Medes, because aohis purpose concerning Babylon is to destroy it, apfor that is the vengeance of the Lord, the vengeance for aqhis temple.

Jeremiah 51:35

35The violence done to me and to my kinsmen be upon Babylon,”
let the inhabitant of Zion say.
“My blood be upon the inhabitants of Chaldea,”
let Jerusalem say.

Jeremiah 51:49

49Babylon must fall for the slain of Israel,
arjust as for Babylon have fallen the slain of all the earth.
