17 The Lord is ^arighteous in all his ways
and ^bkind in all his works.
18 The Lord is ^cnear to all who call on him,
to all who call on him ^din truth.
19 He ^efulfills the desire of those who fear him;
he also ^fhears their cry and saves them.
20 The Lord ^gpreserves all who love him,
but all the wicked he will destroy.
