7 ^awho executes justice for the oppressed,
^bwho gives food to the hungry.
^cThe Lord sets the prisoners free;
8 ^dthe Lord opens the eyes of the blind.
^eThe Lord lifts up those who are bowed down;
^fthe Lord loves the righteous.
9 ^gThe Lord watches over the sojourners;
^hhe upholds the widow and the fatherless,
but ⁱthe way of the wicked he brings to ruin.
