Psalms 16:9-11

9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my awhole being

my flesh also dwells secure.
10For you will not abandon my soul to cSheol,

11 You make known to me hthe path of life;
in your presence there is ifullness of joy;

Isaiah 49:6

6he says:
“It is too light a thing that you should be my servant
to raise up the tribes of Jacob
and to bring back the preserved of Israel;
kI will make you las a light for the nations,

Isaiah 53:10-12

Luke 24:26

26 abWas it not necessary that acthe Christ should suffer these things and enter into adhis glory?”

John 12:24

24Truly, truly, I say to you, aeunless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.

Hebrews 2:7-9

7You made him for a little while lower than the angels;
you have crowned him with glory and honor,
Some manuscripts insert and set him over the works of your hands

8putting everything in subjection under his feet.”
Now in putting everything in subjection to him, he left nothing outside his control. At present, ajwe do not yet see everything in subjection to him.
9But we see him akwho for a little while was made lower than the angels, namely Jesus, alcrowned with glory and honor ambecause of the suffering of death, so that by the grace of God he might antaste death aofor everyone.
