Psalms 18:48-50

48who rescued me from my enemies;
yes, you aexalted me above those who rose against me;
you delivered me from bthe man of violence.
49 cFor this I will praise you, O Lord, among the nations,

Psalms 37:39-40

39 hThe salvation of the righteous is from the Lord;
he is their stronghold in ithe time of trouble.
40The Lord helps them and jdelivers them;
khe delivers them from the wicked and saves them,
because they ltake refuge in him.

Psalms 144:10

Isaiah 10:24-25

24Therefore thus says the Lord God of hosts: “O my people, nwho dwell in Zion, obe not afraid of the Assyrians when they strike with the rod and lift up their staff against you as pthe Egyptians did. 25For qin a very little while my fury will come to an end, and my anger will be directed to their destruction.

Isaiah 31:4-5

4 For thus the Lord said to me,
r“As a lion or a young lion growls over his prey,
and when a band of shepherds is called out against him
he is not terrified by their shouting
or daunted at their noise,
sso the Lord of hosts will come down
to fight
The Hebrew words for  hosts and  to fight sound alike
on Mount Zion and on its hill.
5 uLike birds hovering, so the Lord of hosts
will protect Jerusalem;
he will protect and deliver it;
he will spare and rescue it.”

Isaiah 33:22

22For the Lord is our vjudge; the Lord is our wlawgiver;
the Lord is our xking; he will save us.

Hosea 1:7

7But yI will have mercy on the house of Judah, and I will save them by the Lord their God. I zwill not save them by bow or by sword or by war or by horses or by horsemen.”
