Psalms 19:1-6

The Law of the Lord Is Perfect

To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David.

1 aThe heavens declare the glory of God,
and the sky above
Hebrew  the expanse; compare Genesis 1:6–8
proclaims his handiwork.
2Day to day pours out speech,
and night to night reveals knowledge.
3There is no speech, nor are there words,
whose voice is not heard.
4 cTheir dvoice
Or  Their measuring line
goes out through all the earth,
and their words to the end of the world.
In them he has set a tent for fthe sun,
5 gwhich comes out like ha bridegroom leaving his chamber,
and, like a strong man, runs its course with joy.
6Its rising is from the end of the heavens,
and its circuit to the end of them,
and there is nothing hidden from its heat.

Isaiah 40:26

26Lift up your eyes on high and see:
who created these?
iHe who brings out their host by number,
calling them all by name;
by the greatness of his might
and because he is strong in power,
not one is missing.

Jeremiah 10:10-13

10 jBut the Lord is the true God;
khe is the living God and the everlasting King.
At his wrath the earth quakes,
and the nations cannot endure his indignation.
11Thus shall you say to them: l“The gods who did not make the heavens and the earth mshall perish from the earth and from under the heavens.”
This verse is in Aramaic

12 oIt is he who pmade the earth by his power,
qwho established the world by his wisdom,
and rby his understanding stretched out the heavens.
13 sWhen he utters his voice, there is a tumult of waters in the heavens,
tand he makes the mist rise from the ends of the earth.
uHe makes lightning vfor the rain,
wand he brings forth the wind xfrom his storehouses.

Acts 14:16

16In past generations he yallowed all the nations zto walk in their own ways.

Acts 17:23-30

23For as I passed along and observed the objects of your worship, I found also an altar with this inscription, aa‘To the unknown god.’ abWhat therefore you worship acas unknown, this I proclaim to you. 24 adThe God who made the world and everything in it, being aeLord of heaven and earth, afdoes not live in temples made by man,
Greek made by hands
25nor is he served by human hands, ahas though he needed anything, since he himself aigives to all mankind ajlife and breath and everything. 26And akhe made from one man every nation of mankind to live alon all the face of the earth, amhaving determined allotted periods and anthe boundaries of their dwelling place, 27 aothat they should seek God, apand perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. aqYet he is actually not far from each one of us, 28for

ar“‘In him we live and move and have our being’;
Probably from Epimenides of Crete

as even some of atyour own poets have said,

“‘For we are indeed his offspring.’
From Aratus’s poem “Phainomena”

29 avBeing then God’s offspring, awwe ought not to think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone, an image formed by the art and imagination of man. 30 axThe times of ignorance ayGod overlooked, but aznow he bacommands all people everywhere to repent,

Romans 1:20

20For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, bbhave been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world,
Or  clearly perceived from the creation of the world
in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.
