Psalms 2:1

The Reign of the Lord’s Anointed

1 ^aWhy do ^bthe nations rage ^{▼▼Or nations noisily assemble}
and the peoples plot in vain?

Isaiah 8:9-10

9 Be broken, ^{▼▼Or Be evil} you peoples, and ^ebe shattered; ^{▼▼Or dismayed}
give ear, all you far countries;
strap on your armor and be shattered;
strap on your armor and be shattered.
10 Take counsel together, but it will come to nothing;
speak a word, ^gbut it will not stand,

Micah 4:11-12

11 Now ^jmany nations
are assembled against you,
saying, “Let her be defiled,
and ^klet our eyes gaze upon Zion.”
12 But ^lthey do not know
the thoughts of the Lord;
they do not understand his plan,
that ^mhe has gathered them as sheaves to the threshing floor.

Zechariah 14:2-3

2 For ⁿI will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle, and ^othe city shall be taken ^pand the houses plundered ^qand the women raped. ^rHalf of the city shall go out into exile, but the rest of the people shall not be cut off from the city. 3 ^sThen the Lord will go out and fight against those nations as when he fights on a day of battle.

Revelation of John 19:19-21

19 And I saw ^tthe beast and the kings of the earth with their armies ^ugathered to make war against him who was sitting on the horse and against his army. 20 And the beast was captured, and with it ^vthe false prophet ^wwho in its presence ^{▼▼Or on its behalf} had done the signs by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who ^yworshiped its image.
