Psalms 2:1-3

The Reign of the Lord’s Anointed

1 aWhy do bthe nations rage
Or  nations noisily assemble

and the peoples plot in vain?

3“Let us eburst their bonds apart
and cast away their cords from us.”

Psalms 64:2-6

2Hide me from fthe secret plots of the wicked,
from the throng of evildoers,
3who gwhet their tongues like swords,
who haim bitter words like arrows,
4shooting from iambush at the blameless,
shooting at him suddenly and jwithout fear.
5They khold fast to their evil purpose;
they talk of llaying snares secretly,
thinking, mWho can see them?”
6They search out injustice,
saying, “We have accomplished a diligent search.”
For nthe inward mind and heart of a man are deep.

10Take counsel together, but it will come to nothing;
speak a word, rbut it will not stand,
for God sis with us.
