The Reign of the Lord’s Anointed

1 aWhy do bthe nations rage
Or  nations noisily assemble

and the peoples plot in vain?
2The kings of the earth set themselves,
and the rulers take counsel together,
against the Lord and against his dAnointed, saying,
3“Let us eburst their bonds apart
and cast away their cords from us.”

27for truly in this city there were gathered together against your kholy servant Jesus, lwhom you anointed, both mHerod and nPontius Pilate, along owith the Gentiles and pthe peoples of Israel,
