6“As for me, I have aset my King
on bZion, my choly hill.”
7 I will tell of the decree:
The Lord said to me, d“You are my Son;
today I have begotten you.
8Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage,
and ethe ends of the earth your possession.
9You shall fbreak

10 Now therefore, O kings, be wise;
be warned, O rulers of the earth.

Psalms 45:3-6

3 jGird your ksword on your thigh, O lmighty one,
in myour splendor and majesty!
4 In your majesty nride out victoriously
for the cause of truth and meekness and righteousness;
let your right hand teach you oawesome deeds!
5Your arrows are sharp
in the heart of the king’s enemies;
the peoples fall under you.
6 pYour throne, O God, is forever and ever.
The qscepter of your kingdom is a scepter of uprightness;
