Psalms 2:6-12

6“As for me, I have aset my King
on bZion, my choly hill.”
7 I will tell of the decree:
The Lord said to me, d“You are my Son;
today I have begotten you.
8Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage,
and ethe ends of the earth your possession.
9You shall fbreak
Revocalization yields (compare Septuagint)  You shall rule
them with ha rod of iron
and dash them in pieces like ia potter’s vessel.”
10 Now therefore, O kings, be wise;
be warned, O rulers of the earth.
11 jServe the Lord with kfear,
and lrejoice with mtrembling.
12 nKiss othe Son,
lest he be angry, and you perish in the way,
for his pwrath is quickly kindled.
qBlessed are all who take refuge in him.

Psalms 46:3-7

3though rits waters roar and foam,
though the mountains tremble at its swelling.  Selah
4 There is sa river whose streams make glad tthe city of God,
the holy uhabitation of the Most High.
5 vGod is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved;
God will help her when morning dawns.
6 wThe nations rage, the kingdoms totter;
he xutters his voice, the earth ymelts.
7 zThe Lord of hosts is with us;
