Why Have You Forsaken Me?

1 ^aMy God, my God, why have you forsaken me?
Why are you so ^bfar from saving me, from the words of my ^cgroaning?
2 O my God, I cry by ^dday, but you do not answer,
and by night, but I find no rest.

Psalms 44:23

23 ^eAwake! Why are you sleeping, O Lord?
Rouse yourself! ^fDo not reject us forever!

Jeremiah 14:9

9 Why should you be like a man confused,
^glike a mighty warrior who cannot save?
