Why Have You Forsaken Me?

1 aMy God, my God, why have you forsaken me?
Why are you so bfar from saving me, from the words of my cgroaning?
2O my God, I cry by dday, but you do not answer,
and by night, but I find no rest.

Psalms 69:1-3

Save Me, O God

1 Save me, O God!
For fthe waters have come up to my neck.
Or  waters threaten my life

2I sink in deep hmire,
where there is no foothold;
I have come into deep waters,
and the flood isweeps over me.
3 jI am weary with my crying out;
kmy throat is parched.
lMy eyes grow dim
with mwaiting for my God.

Psalms 69:13-15

13 But as for me, my nprayer is to you, O Lord.
At oan acceptable time, O God,
in the abundance of your steadfast love answer me in your saving faithfulness.
14Deliver me
from sinking in pthe mire;
qlet me be delivered from my enemies
and from rthe deep waters.
15Let not the flood sweep over me,
or the deep swallow me up,
or sthe pit close tits mouth over me.

Matthew 26:39
