The Lord Is My Shepherd

A Psalm of David.

1 The Lord is my ashepherd; I shall not bwant.
2He makes me lie down in green cpastures.
He leads me beside still waters.
Hebrew  beside waters of rest

3He erestores my soul.
He fleads me in gpaths of righteousness
Or  in right paths

for his iname’s sake.

Ezekiel 34:11-16

The Lord God Will Seek Them Out

11For thus says the Lord God: xBehold, I, I ymyself will search for my sheep and will seek them out. 12As a shepherd seeks out his flock when he is among his sheep that have been scattered, so will I seek out my sheep, and I will rescue them from all places where they have been scattered on za day of clouds and aathick darkness. 13And I will bring them out from the peoples aband gather them from the countries, and will bring them into their own land. And I will feed them on acthe mountains of Israel, by the ravines, and in all the inhabited places of the country. 14 adI will feed them with good pasture, and on the mountain heights of Israel shall be their grazing land. aeThere they shall lie down in good grazing land, and on rich pasture they shall feed on the mountains of Israel. 15 afI myself will be the shepherd of my sheep, agand I myself will make them lie down, declares the Lord God. 16 ahI will seek the lost, aiand I will bring back the strayed, and I will bind up the injured, and I will strengthen the weak, and ajthe fat and the strong I will destroy.

Ezekiel 34:23-24

23And alI will set up over them one shepherd, ammy servant David, and he shall feed them: he shall feed them and be their shepherd. 24And anI, the Lord, will be their God, and my servant David shall be prince among them. aoI am the Lord; I have spoken.

Ezekiel 37:24

24“My servant apDavid aqshall be king over them, and they shall all have arone shepherd. asThey shall walk in my rules and be careful to obey my statutes.

1 Peter 5:4

4And when atthe chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the auunfading avcrown of glory.
