The Lord Is My Light and My Salvation

1 The Lord is my alight and my bsalvation;cwhom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold ▼
▼Or refuge
of my life;of whom shall I be afraid?
Psalms 112:7-8
7He is not eafraid of bad news;his fheart is firm, gtrusting in the Lord.
8His heart is steady; he will not be afraid,
until he looks in triumph on his adversaries.
Isaiah 51:7-8
7 h“Listen to me, you who know righteousness,the people iin whose heart is my law;
jfear not the reproach of man,
nor be dismayed at their revilings.
8 kFor the moth will eat them up like a garment,
and the worm will eat them like wool,
lbut my righteousness will be forever,
and my salvation to all generations.”
Isaiah 51:12-13
12 “I, I am he mwho comforts you;who are you that you are afraid of nman who dies,
of the son of man who is made olike grass,
13and have forgotten the Lord, your Maker,
pwho stretched out the heavens
and qlaid the foundations of the earth,
and you fear continually all the day
because of the wrath of rthe oppressor,
when he sets himself to destroy?
And where is the wrath of sthe oppressor?
