The Lord Is My Light and My Salvation

1 The Lord is my alight and my bsalvation;
cwhom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold
Or refuge
of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid?
2 When evildoers assail me
to eeat up my flesh,
my adversaries and foes,
it is they who stumble and fall.
3 fThough an army encamp against me,
my heart shall not fear;
though war arise against me,
yet

I will be confident.

Isaiah 8:12-14

12“Do not call uconspiracy all that this people calls conspiracy, and vdo not fear what they fear, nor be in dread. 13But the Lord of hosts, whim you shall honor as holy. Let him be your fear, and let him be your dread. 14And he will become a xsanctuary and ya stone of offense and a rock of stumbling to both houses of Israel, a trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

Isaiah 12:2

2 Behold, God is my salvation;

Isaiah 26:3-4

Isaiah 26:20-21

20 Come, my people, enter your chambers,
and shut your doors behind you;
hide yourselves acfor a little while
until the fury has passed by.
21 adFor behold, the Lord is coming out from his place
to punish the inhabitants of aethe earth for their iniquity,
and the earth will disclose the blood shed on it,
and will no more cover its slain.
