To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David.

1 I iwaited patiently for the Lord;

2He drew me up from kthe pit of destruction,

3He put oa new song in my mouth,

4 Blessed is the man who qmakes
the Lord his trust,
who does not turn to the proud,
