Psalms 28:4-5

4 ^aGive to them according to their work
and according to the evil of their deeds;
give to them according to the work of their hands;
^brender them their due reward.
5 Because they ^cdo not regard the works of the Lord
or the work of his hands,
he will tear them down and build them up no more.

Isaiah 5:12

12 ^dThey have lyre and harp,
tambourine and flute and wine at their feasts,
^ebut they do not regard the deeds of the Lord,
or see the work of his hands.

Hosea 11:7

7 My people are bent ^fon turning away from me,
and though ^gthey call out to the Most High,
he shall not raise them up at all.

John 5:37-38
