Save Me, O My God
A Psalm of David, awhen he fled from Absalom his son.
1 O Lord, bhow many are my foes!Many are crising against me;
2many are saying of my soul,
d"There is no salvation for him in God." Selah ▼

3 But you, O Lord, are fa shield gabout me,
my glory, and hthe lifter of my head.
4I icried aloud to the Lord,
and he janswered me from his kholy hill. Selah
5 I llay down and slept;
I woke again, for the Lord sustained me.
6I mwill not be afraid of many thousands of people
who have nset themselves against me all around.
7 oArise, O Lord!
Save me, O my God!
For you pstrike all my enemies on the cheek;
you qbreak the teeth of the wicked.
8 rSalvation belongs to the Lord;
your blessing be on your people! Selah

Ascribe to the Lord Glory
A Psalm of David.
1 Ascribe to the Lord, O heavenly beings, ▼▼Hebrew sons of God, or sons of might
tascribe to the Lord glory and strength.
2Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name;
worship the Lord in uthe splendor of holiness. ▼

3 The voice of the Lord is over wthe waters;
the God of glory xthunders,
the Lord, over many waters.
4The voice of the Lord is ypowerful;
the voice of the Lord is full of majesty.
5 The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars;
the Lord breaks zthe cedars of Lebanon.
6He makes Lebanon to aaskip like a calf,
and abSirion like a young acwild ox.
7 The voice of the Lord flashes forth flames of fire.
8The voice of the Lord shakes the wilderness;
the Lord shakes the wilderness of adKadesh.
9 The voice of the Lord makes aethe deer give birth ▼
▼Revocalization yields makes the oaks to shake
and strips the forests bare,
and in his temple all cry, “Glory!”
10 The Lord sits enthroned over agthe flood;
the Lord sits enthroned ahas king forever.
11May the Lord give aistrength to his people!
