Save Me, O My God

A Psalm of David, awhen he fled from Absalom his son.

1 O Lord, bhow many are my foes!
Many are crising against me;
2many are saying of my soul,
d"There is no salvation for him in God."  Selah
The meaning of the Hebrew word  Selah, used frequently in the Psalms, is uncertain. It may be a musical or liturgical direction

Psalms 42:10

10As with a deadly wound in my bones,
my adversaries taunt me,
fwhile they say to me all the day long,
Where is your God?”

Psalms 71:11

11and say, “God has forsaken him;
pursue and seize him,
for there is none to deliver him.”

Psalms 91:14

14 Because he gholds fast to me in love, I will deliver him;
I will protect him, because he hknows my name.

Mark 15:30-32
