7 aArise, O Lord!
Save me, O my God!
For you bstrike all my enemies on the cheek;
you cbreak the teeth of the wicked.

For ethe waters have come up to my neck.
Or  waters threaten my life

2I sink in deep gmire,
where there is no foothold;
I have come into deep waters,
and the flood hsweeps over me.

Psalms 107:27-30

Jonah 2:2-7

into the heart of the seas,
and the flood surrounded me;

passed over me.

from your sight;

upon your holy temple.’
5 adThe waters closed in over me aeto take my life;
the deep surrounded me;
weeds were wrapped about my head
6at the roots of the mountains.
I went down to the land
whose bars closed upon me forever;
yet you brought up my life from the pit,
O Lord my God.
7When my life was fainting away,
I remembered the Lord,
afand my prayer came to you,
into your holy temple.

Matthew 8:24-25
