Psalms 30:4-12

4 Sing praises to the Lord, O you ahis saints,
and bgive thanks to his holy name.
Hebrew  to the memorial of his holiness (see Exodus 3:15)

5 dFor his anger is but for a moment,
and ehis favor is for a lifetime.
Or  and in his favor is life

gWeeping may tarry for the night,
but hjoy comes with the morning.
6 As for me, I said in my iprosperity,
“I shall never be jmoved.”
7By your favor, O Lord,
you made my kmountain stand strong;
you lhid your face;
I was mdismayed.
8 To you, O Lord, I cry,
and nto the Lord I plead for mercy:
9“What profit is there in my death,
Hebrew  in my blood

if I go down to the pit?
Or  to corruption

Will qthe dust praise you?
Will it tell of your faithfulness?
10 rHear, O Lord, and be merciful to me!
O Lord, be my helper!”
11 You have turned for me my mourning into sdancing;
you have loosed my sackcloth
and clothed me with gladness,
12that my tglory may sing your praise and not be silent.
O Lord my God, I will give thanks to you forever!
