Psalms 30:9

9“What profit is there in my death,
Hebrew  in my blood

if I go down to the pit?
Or  to corruption

Will cthe dust praise you?
Will it tell of your faithfulness?

Ecclesiastes 9:10

10Whatever your hand finds to do, ddo it with your might,
Or  finds to do with your might, do it
ffor there is no work or thought or knowledge or wisdom in Sheol, to which you are going.

Isaiah 38:18-19

18 gFor Sheol does not thank you;
death does not praise you;
those who go down to the pit do not hope
for your faithfulness.
19The living, the living, he thanks you,
as I do this day;
hthe father makes known to the children
your faithfulness.

Isaiah 57:1

Israel’s Futile Idolatry

1 The righteous man perishes,
and no one lays it to heart;
idevout men are taken away,
while no one understands.
For the righteous man is taken away from calamity;

Luke 8:38-39

38The man from whom the demons had gone begged that he might be with him, but Jesus sent him away, saying, 39Return to your home, and jdeclare how much God has done for you.” And he went away, proclaiming throughout the whole city how much Jesus had done for him.

Philippians 1:20-26

20as it is my eager expectation and hope kthat I will not be at all ashamed, but that with full lcourage now as always Christ mwill be honored in my body, nwhether by life or by death. 21For to me oto live is Christ, and to die is gain. 22If I am to live in the flesh, that means fruitful labor for me. Yet which I shall choose I cannot tell. 23 pI am hard pressed between the two. My desire is qto depart and rbe with Christ, for that is far better. 24But to remain in the flesh is more necessary on your account. 25 sConvinced of this, tI know that I will remain and continue with you all, for your uprogress and vjoy in the faith, 26so that in me wyou may have ample cause to glory in Christ Jesus, because of my coming to you again.
