14 But I ^atrust in you, O Lord;
I say, “You are my God.”
15 My ^btimes are in your hand;
^crescue me from the hand of my enemies and from my persecutors!
16 ^dMake your face shine on your servant;
save me in your steadfast love!

Send Out Your Light and Your Truth

1 ^eVindicate me, O God, and ^fdefend my cause
against an ungodly people,
from ^gthe deceitful and unjust man
deliver me!
2 For you are ^hthe God in whom I take refuge;
why have you ⁱrejected me?
Why do I ^jgo about mourning
because of the oppression of the enemy?
3 ^kSend out your light and your truth;
let them lead me;
let them bring me to your ^lholy hill
and to your ^mdwelling!
4 Then I will go to the altar of God,
to God my exceeding joy,
and I will praise you with the lyre,
O God, my God.
5 ⁿWhy are you cast down, O my soul,
and why are you in turmoil within me?
^oHope in God; for I shall again praise him,
my salvation and my God.

Matthew 27:46
