17 O Lord, ^alet me not be put to shame,
for I call upon you;
let the wicked be put to shame;
let them go ^bsilently to Sheol.
18 Let the lying lips be mute,
which ^cspeak ^dinsolently against the righteous
in pride and contempt.

Psalms 35:26

26 Let them be ^eput to shame and disappointed altogether
who rejoice at my calamity!
Let them be ^fclothed with shame and dishonor
who ^gmagnify themselves against me!
