Psalms 32:1-5
Blessed Are the Forgiven
A Maskil ▼▼Probably a musical or liturgical term of David.
1 bBlessed is the one whose ctransgression is forgiven,whose sin is covered.
2Blessed is the man against whom the Lord dcounts no iniquity,
and in whose spirit ethere is no deceit.
3 For when I kept silent, my fbones wasted away
through my ggroaning all day long.
4For day and night your hhand was heavy upon me;
my strength was dried up ▼
▼Hebrew my vitality was changed
as by the heat of summer. Selah 5 I jacknowledged my sin to you,
and I did not cover my iniquity;
I said, “I kwill confess my transgressions to the Lord,”
and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah
