Psalms 32:3-5

3 For when I kept silent, my abones wasted away
through my bgroaning all day long.
4For day and night your chand was heavy upon me;
my strength was dried up
Hebrew  my vitality was changed
as by the heat of summer.  Selah
5 I eacknowledged my sin to you,
and I did not cover my iniquity;
I said, “I fwill confess my transgressions to the Lord,”
and you forgave the iniquity of my sin.  Selah

Psalms 51:3-5

3 gFor I know my transgressions,
and my sin is ever before me.
4 hAgainst you, you only, have I sinned
and done what is evil iin your sight,
jso that you may be justified in your words
and blameless in your judgment.
5Behold, kI was brought forth in iniquity,
and in sin did my mother conceive me.

Proverbs 23:13

13Do not withhold ldiscipline from a child;
mif you strike him with a rod, he will not die.

Matthew 3:6

1 John 1:8-10
