Psalms 32:3-6

3 For when I kept silent, my abones wasted away
through my bgroaning all day long.
4For day and night your chand was heavy upon me;
my strength was dried up
Hebrew  my vitality was changed
as by the heat of summer.  Selah
5 I eacknowledged my sin to you,
and I did not cover my iniquity;
I said, “I fwill confess my transgressions to the Lord,”
and you forgave the iniquity of my sin.  Selah
6 Therefore let everyone who is ggodly
offer prayer to you at a time when you hmay be found;
surely in the rush of igreat waters,
they shall not reach him.

Psalms 51:12-13

2 Corinthians 1:4-6

4 uwho comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 5For as we share abundantly in vChrist’s sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too.
Or For as the sufferings of Christ abound for us, so also our comfort abounds through Christ
6 xIf we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; and if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which you experience when you patiently endure the same sufferings that we suffer.

1 Timothy 1:13-16

13though formerly I was a blasphemer, ypersecutor, and insolent opponent. But zI received mercy aabecause I had acted ignorantly in unbelief, 14and abthe grace of our Lord overflowed for me with the acfaith and love that are in Christ Jesus. 15The saying is adtrustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus aecame into the world to save sinners, afof whom I am the foremost. 16But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life.
