Revelation of John 5:9-14

“Worthy are you to take the scroll
and to open its seals,

10and you have made them ^ra kingdom and priests to our God,
and they shall reign on the earth.”
11Then I looked, and I heard around the throne and the living creatures and the elders the voice of many angels, numbering ^smyriads of myriads and thousands of thousands, 12saying with a loud voice,

^t“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain,
to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might
and honor and glory and blessing!”
13And I heard ^uevery creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying,

“To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb
be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!”
14And the four living creatures ^vsaid, “Amen!” and the elders ^wfell down and worshiped.

Rejoicing in Heaven

1After this I heard ^xwhat seemed to be the loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, crying out,

“Hallelujah!
^ySalvation and glory and power belong to our God,
2for ^zhis judgments are true and just;
for he has judged ^aathe great prostitute
who corrupted the earth with her immorality,
and ^abhas avenged on her the blood of his servants.” ▼

“Hallelujah!
^adThe smoke from her goes up forever and ever.”

all you his servants,
^agyou who fear him,
small and great.”
