a warrior is not delivered by his great strength.

Psalms 44:3-6

3 for not ^bby their own sword did they win the land,
nor did their own arm save them,
but your right hand and your arm,
and ^cthe light of your face,
^dfor you delighted in them.
4 ^eYou are my King, O God;
^fordain salvation for Jacob!
5 Through you we ^gpush down our foes;
through your name we ^htread down those who rise up against us.
6 For not in ⁱmy bow do I trust,
nor can my sword save me.
