Psalms 34:15-16

15 ^aThe eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous
^band his ears toward their cry.
16 ^cThe face of the Lord is against those who do evil,
to ^dcut off the memory of them from the earth.

Amos 9:4

4 ^eAnd if they go into captivity before their enemies,
there I will command the sword, and it shall kill them;
^fand I will fix my eyes upon them
for evil and not for good.”
