19 aMany are the afflictions of the righteous,
bbut the Lord delivers him out of them all.

Psalms 37:32-33

32 The wicked cwatches for the righteous
and seeks to put him to death.
33The Lord will not dabandon him to his power
or let him ebe condemned when he is brought to trial.

2 Corinthians 1:8-10

of gthe affliction we experienced in Asia. For we were so utterly burdened beyond our strength that we despaired of life itself.
9Indeed, we felt that we had received the sentence of death. But that was to make us hrely not on ourselves ibut on God jwho raises the dead. 10 kHe delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us. lOn him we have set our hope that he will deliver us again.

2 Corinthians 4:8-10

2 Timothy 4:16-17
